This team member will have the opportunity to learn from and work alongside our experienced Financial Analyst as you help improve the accuracy of client accounts and aid in month and year-end closing processes. You will be responsible for QuickBooks Online data-entries, bank statement reconciliation, and providing ad-hoc analysis support in accounting.

The ideal candidate must display a good understanding of bookkeeping/basic accounting principles or be a quick learner, strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, exhibit well-rounded communication skills, and be able to work as a team player but also quite independently. This individual must be organized and possess the ability to adapt to shifting deadlines and priorities. Be self-motivated and must be trustworthy and sensitive to confidential information.

Here’s what you’ll do

● Collaborate with Finance Analyst on projects, and year-end tax preparation.

● Support month-end close process by ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.

● Assist in streamlining and improving the bookkeeping process.

● Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations.

● Assist with expense review and classification.

● Perform relevant ad-hoc tasks upon request.

This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $20/per hour. The final offer will be determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. This is a remote position. This position is on track for a full-time conversion.
